What a treat last week to meet my piano playing hero Ben Folds once again - I've quickly devoured his book and learned so much more about his life, processes and much more. I can highly recommend it as a very easy read. I even got to ask him a question in front of the sold out powerhouse theatre! I've been buzzing on that all week. Ben Folds is touring next year and playing with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Brisbane on the 11th and 12th of March. I'll be buying tickets shortly, so if you'd like to come along with me, let me know this week. https://www.qso.com.au/events/2020/special-events/ben-folds-the-symphonic-tour One of the piano players I often show in lessons is Peter Bence - he plays ridiculous versions of well-known pop hits, just like this: Queen - Don't Stop Me Now | Piano Cover - Peter Bence Peter is playing in Brisbane on November 30. Again, if you'd like to attend with me, let me know and I'll organise some tickets. https://www.ticketmaster.com.au/peter-bence-brisbane-30-11-2019/event/130056C3E7614D62 Friday saw the release of the 4th episode of "Hook Club", the podcast hosted by myself and my good friend and collaborator Vinnie. Just search "Hook Club" in your favourite podcast app, and you can hear us dissect the Ed Sheeran/Justin Bieber hit I Don't Care. If you need help finding the podcast, just let me know and I'll show you how. Things I've been watching/listening to this week:
